Built with OneFoundry

How a one-person company shipped a real billing product.

Bill On The Go was designed, built, security-reviewed, and business-tested by a governed team of AI agents — with a human accountable at every gate.

This governed AI-agent build process — roles, gates, hand-offs, and a human on every consequential call — is what we call OneFoundry: an emerging, AI-native way to run a company’s execution, and Bill On The Go is its first real, live reference implementation. The interesting part was never autonomy — it’s the governance that lets one person ship like a team.

Here’s exactly how, with the receipts.

The model

A company, run role by role — in AI.

Not one mega-prompt. 26 role-defined agents, 18 active, organized into the same teams a real company has — with a single non-technical founder as the only decision-maker.

The gates

The boring part is the whole point.

Speed without discipline is how software gets dangerous. Every change moved through real gates — and QA can stop the line.

The acceptance pipeline

Every screen ran Build → Designer + PO design-conformance → QA / Security → Business UAT before it went live. The QA agent has hard-stop authority: when a locked decision was violated, the work went back — not forward. A final Business-UAT agent walks every screen like a customer would. That veto is why the output can be trusted.

The evidence

Receipts, not adjectives.

Everything here is checkable — the whole point of a governed build is that it leaves a trail.

200+

decisions logged (D1–D214 and counting) — superseded, never deleted. Full audit trail

The honest part

What the AI did not do.

“AI built my whole company autonomously” is how people get burned. It’s also not true. Here’s the honest version.

It did not make the money, legal, scope, or launch decisions — those are the founder’s, every time.

It did not ship the product’s AI assist live — that’s built but deliberately switched off until a provider and a cost ceiling are chosen. An honest blank beats a confident wrong answer about your money.

It did not invent customers, testimonials, or metrics. There are none yet — so we claim none.

It did not run unattended. Agents propose and execute inside their lane; a human approves anything consequential.
